Trick or Treat... Definitely Treat!

So the time is upon us... Costumes & Candy!
I love this time of year, but I always feel a bit stressed and anxious.
What do I wear? What am I going to do?
People keep shoving candy in my face, so how am I supposed to look good in my "costume"?
And of course having to prep myself for a weekend of craziness. AHHHHH!
Well this year, I planned ahead & I'm LOVING the stress free feeling...
So my TREAT to you is this, some suggestions of fun Halloween Events to check out,
that is if you live in southern Cali (sorry!)
Now, most events are kinda pricey, so unless you plan on passing out candy to tiny princess & superheros OR going to a house party... expect to spend some $$$.

So here is what I've got for Ya...
Number One:
(and my personal pick cuz (1) I LOVE the Bag Raiders & Classixx (2) Gotta support my buds)
Amazing time last year with the Collaborative Media crew
& I don't expect anything less this year!
Great music, beautiful people, & overall a really fun event!
See Ticket info by clicking on the flier & watch video too!
But don't  stall, it's almost SOLD OUT (seriously tho, it really is)!

Number Two:
This event also looks like a WINNER! Pandora Halloween 3-D with EC Twins...
I mean, really can't go wrong with two SMOKIN twin DJ's...
But what makes this event special is everyone will get 3D glasses. If I hadn't committed to the previously plugged event, I would definitely consider this option.
OH and I forgot to mention one detail... IT'S AT A CEMETERY!

Number Three:
If you're willing to travel or have friends/family that live in SUN-DIEGO this event is ALL TIME!
Not only will Deadmau5 be bringing his fancy cube,
he will also be bring the little SHM prodigy AVICII (who's tracks are by no means little)!
This looks like a massive event & if you have not experienced Deadmau5 live,
trust me, you won't be disappointed!

So that is it for my Halloween 2011 Event Picks...
I know they are a little "music/dance" bias, but what can I say, this girl likes to DANCE!

If you are looking for costume ideas visit
Beach Bunny HALLOWEEN LOOKS Section for ideas!
There are some cute ideas that the Beach Bunny Girls have put together...
My personal favorite, the Sexy Sailor followed closely by Officer Bunny.

Whatever you choose for your SPOOKY Halloween Festivities,
I wish everyone a SAFE & FUN Weekend!

Beach Bunnies for Boobies

October 2011 has so much going for it… It kicks-off the holiday season with pumpkin carving, Halloween decorating, events & parties; before we know it we’re going to be seeing tinsel & mistletoe (smooch!). October ALSO brings us National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Many companies across the nation are doing their part to help raise for the CURE, the reason, it affects every single one of us in some way. Our mothers, grandmother, sisters, aunts, and even the men in our lives are emotionally and/or physical impacted by breast cancer.
A personal note, my grandmother (Shirley Ann Leifkes, a fiery red head) was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was a 30 year old mother of three.
After bi-weekly radiation and chemo treatments,
she survived breast cancer but sustained major cardio issues due to the amounts of radiation, passing of heart failure just this last year.
Doctors did not know what damage (although killing the cancer) radiation could do to the body. Today, with the research being done, knowing this information is possible.
With the support of people like you and me,
diagnoses are easier, earlier, and saving lives daily.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month Beach Bunny Swimwear is running a THINK PINK campaign where select PINK styles are 15% OFF and proceeds will be given to
Check out what styles are on sale and help the cause at www.beachbunnyswimwear.com.

We also participated in the Susan G. Komen Race of the Cure a few weeks ago, as Team Beach Bunnies for Boobies. It is a great day for the bunnies, as we were able to see first-hand how many lives this disease effects.
As my mom and I ‘walked’ for my grandmother, I noticed an older couple walking in front of us, holding a sign with pictures that read “I Walk for my Daughter”; it stated she had passed away at the age of 29 just a few years ago. A man walked alone and wore a shirt that read “I walk for my best friend, my guardian angel, my lover, my wife”.
Reading all of these stories really brought to life the importance of finding the cure. You could not help but feel touched and honored to be alive and able to take part in the event. It was such a special day and we cannot wait to participate again next year.
